Love it...so bright and colorful! I never think to do straight line quilting across the quilt, as I do up and down instead. Writing myself a post-it note to try this.

I'll have to look up this pattern as I suspect it uses a jelly roll, am I right? Love yours and it's bright colors for an infant/toddler and definitely suitable as they grow. I, too, usually choose a quicker pattern after a more time consuming project. It makes me feel as if I can finally accomplish something. Can't wait to see your next project.

She used yardage and I used fabric from my stash instead, but the strips are 2.5 inches so that's a jelly roll. That's the nice thing about most of Donna Jordan's Tutorials (MSQC for that matter as well). They use a lot of pre-cuts and the patterns are simple to great effect. I just have to find backing to the difficult quilt I was working on. I did finish it (thankfully) and will post once I get it quilted.

Superb quilt, ekuw. Simple, sweet and a good choice for your quilting. Love to use straight line quilting. Some one mentioned that it is peaceful or soothing and I agree.
