    Default Hippie Quilt

I cut squares of my bolder, brighter batiks to use in this donation quilt and just kept the piecing simple to let the colors sing. This is another practice quilt for me... as I'm learning to fmq better on my new sit down machine. I've been following Angela Walters' lessons, and this is her "paisley meander" pattern. My first try at it... I've shown the plain muslin back because that's where you can really see the quilting best.

Love it! Great job on your FMQ. This type of pattern in perfect for practicing your quilting. I want to try quilting a spiral design and this pattern would work well for that. Thank for showing us :-)
