    I love that you've appliqued it with black thread for a more old fashioned look. Excellent block. I'd love to see the whole quilt at some point.

    I used black thread because the border fabric has a black background. The shop I bought this from as a block of the month changed some of the fabrics a little because she pulled them all from her shelves.
