I see three happy faces in your picture. You are all so lucky to have each other. As a grandma I would fly to the moon for my grandbabies so I fully understand why there was NO hesitation in your doing these projects... They are just darling.

Those took some creativity and talent to invent. Don't kids spark that in us?
They remind me of "Flat Stanley". It is a book read in school. The kids make themselves on paper then mail it or send 'themselves" on an adventure. Some kids send them with a friend or neighbor who is a truck driver - he takes the "Flat _____'" with him and takes pictures of the character at different stops. My DGD sent hers to her great grandmother who took pictures of "Flat DGGD" at different places they went. The pictures all go back to school and the students write a paper about where their "Flat self" went and what (s)he did. My mother had as much or more fun than DGGD planning, taking pictures and writing about places Flat DGGD went with her.
Your grandsons are darling and really love their grandmother! Sock Monkey and Bat Man turned out very nice.
    Good for you!

p.s. don't you think our grandchildren bring out the best in us? It's a win/win thing.
