We just returned from a camping trip up to Yellowknife.... a beautiful spot.... wish Walmart/Cdn Tire/Home Hardware etc. etc. had never found it so that the downtown area could still be the centre of the business area. That said... IF I lived there... I might be thankful to have a good selection of stores to shop in. We couldn't believe the cost of liquor... the same person owns the two stores in town apparently.....the lady at the campground told us a household had to have at least a $100,000/yr income to survive up there.... yup..... we packed up our little RV .... and headed home..... BUT she also mentioned that even though the min. rate isn't that high.... a person taking camping reservations etc. was probably making over $20 Cdn/hour.....

This quilt is so lovely, I wouldn't want to put it away. I'd keep it out at least for autumn. Gee...it could be Christmas colors too! Then Valentine's Day. Maybe put it away for spring and get it out again for Canada Day in July?

Fabulous, just love it. I save all my long paper tubes (that wrapping paper comes on) and when I have something small (less than 30 inches), I roll it onto the paper tube so it doesn't wrinkle.
