When you make them, use your walking foot to sew the multiple layers together and start at the thickest end. I just finished the body of a baby quilt and I'm getting pretty good at making them! Look in the tutorial section of this site for instructions. They are easy. After you sew your seams, iron them out flat rather than to the side to get rid of some of the bulk. Here is mine without the borders:

Sylviak I was hoping you would post your pic of your quilt! Very pretty!! Thanks for mentioning pressing seams flat I forgot to say that and it is SO important!! Trouble is I'm a Taurus and go headlong into things!!!(Then go back and read the instructions!!!!!) :roll: :roll:

There is a great tutorial on here already by tooMuchFabric!! Thats the one I used!

I have used several 3D motifs, but not that one, It looks like great fun. I'll have to try it tight away. Thank you very much for showing it.
