This is a beautiful quilt. The pattern is pretty and very well done. Minkee on the back is wonderful for comfort.

Even the guys. It is so comforting. But it was hard to work with. Lots of pins. What was it like on such a large quilt?
I had no trouble with the layering of it with Minkee. I use the basting spray, so just had some pins around the very edge - I find the basting spray works much better than basting pins. And I do the layering vertically, on my design board, which is batting mounted on a board which is mounted to the sewing room wall. It's much easier than laying it on the floor, or finding a large enough table to do it. It takes me no time at all.

Is that "Forever Diamonds" pattern ? I just finished one done in scrappy materials but not as many light colors as yours. Boy, the diamonds really stand out...like it.

I really like this one! I have a bunch of half square triangles already sewn together, but need to trim them. That is what is holding me back from making something like this because this is the pattern I'm wanting to do. Thanks for the inspiration!
