Did you use a pattern from a book? What book was it?

Default Pattern

Glad you like it. I found the pattern in a book titled Southwest by Southwest, Native American & Mexican Quilt Designs by Kirstin Olsen. I think you can find it on Amazon or one of the other used book sellers. I found it in our local library - free is always nice:-) There's another one in there based on a Navajo Chief Banket that I'm going to make someday.

If you do find it - little word of warning - the patterns do not include a seam allowance which, as a new quilter took me aback a bit. Wasn't hard to add it once I realized my mistake - at least I decided to try making one of the white and red diamond centers first so didn't waste much fabric. It was immediately apparent something was off - even I couldn't have messed up a seam that badly -lol:-)
