That horse looks like it has attitude. I can envision a quilt made from several of these blocks, with a young girl in one of the bottom corners, sitting on her bottom, with arms and legs flailing like she was just tossed from one of these majestic beast. BTW...great job.

Very nice block. I am about ready to start a quilt for a friend who is involved in a horse ministry, and it will have horses on it, but I have found a gorgeous horse panel to use as my centerpiece.

Horse ministry sounds fascinating. I've heard of horses used as counsellors, and as physiotherapists, but never in ministry. I would love to see the panel you found ..... and then the finished quilt.

I think when you put the other blocks around it, you will see that this one is just fine. It is a huge amount of work, and lovely detail. don't put this marvelous horse out to pasture just yet.
