She's sure to be thrilled! I would have only thought of framing the panel with no real idea of what to do with it. I love your creative use of it!

Your granddaughter will be very happy with this quilt. I like the background "grassy" fabric that you chose. The yellow adds the perfect pop of color. Great job!
