Default Hospitality, My 1st Needle Turn Appliqué

Just finished sewing the binding on this project last night. The pattern is Hospitality from "Primitive Quilts" summer 2013 edition. I have done many appliqué projects but usually use fusible. I tried needle turn for this one. I used Jan Patak's method, using freezer paper and tracing on the right side of the fabric.

Looks like you did a great job! I like Jan's patterns - they are primitive and beautiful.

I love the colors you chose for this. Perfect for the folkart style of wallhanging.

Your work is beautiful; not only the applique but the corners on the center block are perfect. The entire applique is perfect and looks wonderful beneath the shelf.
