    Default Hot Flash Quilt

    Okay I finished another one!

I started this a year ago but set it aside to focus on another project. The pattern is called Hot Flash and is available online for free - I got it from a thread on here

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...k-t264698.html

I asked a friend what size and colour would she want if I made her a quilt. She has a nautical theme in her living room and she said she would love a grey and blue lap quilt. She has a hint of red in there as well so I added a tiny red border. The backing on it is a great nautical fabric that I found (I forgot to take a picture).

Aaaand in the last two weeks I have finished two baby quilts and three lap quilts! And now I officially have no WIPs left! I can start something brand new this week

That's beautiful, Lizzie! Your friend is bound to be thrilled. And congratulations on finishing all those quilts. You put me to shame.

I'm jealous! I can't imagine that situation -- I start new projects faster than I finish WIPs.

I've posted each picture over the last few days and it has felt so good! They are probably starting to get buried but if you check out my profile I have pics of everything I've made. The last 5 are the newest ones!

I started quilting 5 years ago (sewed garments before that) and I made a promise to only ever do one quilt at a time. I couldn't start a new quilt if I didn't finish the last one. And that lasted for three years...having 5 WIPs made me feel so outta control!! I feel like I can breathe again lol. Now to carefully choose the next pattern...
