it's wonderful. i'm sure there's enough black/white to satisfy her. the blue really makes the quilt a standout

YES, isn't black hard to see as we get old. You did a really nice design with what is a very simple pattern and turn it into something new and original. JOB WELL DONE !!!

While she was visiting this summer we had a terrific lightening storm and she was absolutely fascinated with it. We sat and watched and listened to the snapping and cracking for about an hour. I tried to capture the lightening and the blowing wind with the fabrics. The peace signs were here choice because when it stopped everything got really still and "peaceful". Ann
