Hello to you all!
Last year my oldest daughter asked me to make a quilt for her granddaughter by marriage. At that time I hadn't met Jillyn but my daughter couldn't say enough about her.Well I met Jillyn this past summer and she is one of the sweetest children I have ever met. It was so obvious how much Jillyn loved "her" Grandma Debbie. What a pair!! Well sadly, my daughter died last September at 48. I went to Ohio in June and took care of her till the end. She had pancreatic cancer.
The highlight of both our days was when Jillyn would visit. She is such a special little girl. She took her Grandma Debbie's death very hard. We became very close during that time.
When I got back home and found the quilt I had started, I knew I had to finish it in time for her birthday in May. Well the top is done!! This is one ufo I am proud to finish!
The lighting isn't the best in the pictures.
