Beautiful quilt to go in a beautiful house. We have been looking at log homes too.

OK, I give -- why no wooden structures for homes???

Love it! I went through Hurricane Charlie in a log cabin, and it was the only home left standing. They are the best!

I wonder how long before they will be asking for log cabin patterned quilts to go with that beauty.

Oh thanks so much everyone! I have only once stopped in my tracks over a hanging quilt top in a quilt store and this was it. When I saw the fabric had all those wonderful words on it, I knew exactly who I would make it for and give it to. So perfect for the house warming gift.

No ruth there is no hand applique on the quilt. There is lots of fussy cut blocks and the five large all differently pieced basket blocks. Lots of bias edges in these blocks I had to be real careful with my pressing! I love the unusual setting. I wish I could have hung it up for you to see, it has lots of secondary patterns going on.

Thanks so much for enjoying the quilt. I am happy with it. Now just to get it quilted and sent.

The house is finished now. That was the old pics they sent me. I can't find the new finished ones.
