Terrific!~ Can you believe? My cousin's son was married in So. Africa 3 years ago and I actually made 36 quilted tote bags (medium) for all the guests at the wedding. The bride was a native of Durbin, my cousins son from Atlanta. Anyway my cuz wanted half of them in US Patriotic colors for the So. Africa residents and the other half for the US guests. Each bag was then filled with many gifts from the US (for the SA guests) and the brides mom filled the African theme bags with local gifts. Huge success, but don't ask me again! I had originally done the same for my son's wedding in Boston and my cousin was there and decided she wanted the same deal. I really got sick of making totes! And I still have so much African fabric left as well as US Stars and Stripes, etc. which I will use up in Quilts of Valor.

Thank you! It is one of my first. And I SO enjoy seeing him use it when he's sitting in his chair. He went to Tanzania. All of the animals on the quilt he saw, too, so it really is better than a postcard!
