What a wonderful, loving tribute to your husband! And he has a good sense of humor too

I love your quilt and have thought to do something similar. PLEASE put the meaning of each block on the back with your label for future generations! My DH is writing his autobiography and the kids wanted to know when I was going to start mine. My DH has included our lives together (almost 46) so not much to tell beyond that, however I told them I would do my story in a quilt, since that's what I do : ) Then the 3 kids, now adults with kids of their own, wanted to know if I was going to make 3 quilts. I told them they could each have possession for 4 mo. ea. yr.

Beautiful quilt honoring your husband and your family lives. I did a personal quilt for my brother-used different fabrics which represented his life.
one of these days I will post it and explain each block, when I can get a good pic of it. He lives out of state and I will be visiting him this fall.
