    Husbands quilt

    My husband actually requested a quilt made from empty lead shot bags, so here is the finished product.

    Just goes to show you can take anything that someone enjoys and make a beautiful quilt out of it! Very nice and I'm sure he will love it for years to come.

    I love it!! It brings back memories for me. I shot trap for a number of years competitively when I was young. I'm sure he loves it!

    Nice! Never seen/felt lead shot bags. Are they similar to flour sacks in weight? Are they cotton? Also ... does lead shot still come in these bags, or are these vintage?

    Question - how did you clean them? I've washed some but some of the really faded.
