Default Husband's UFOs Done! Yay!

Hubby designed both, picked out the fabrics, and the quilting requirements.

The 24 quilt has been on my UFO list for probably 10-12 years. 😕 Hubby has been very patient. 😌 He requested it be quilted with flames of course because they were all over Jeff's car back then. 😏 I am limited on quilting space at the end of a quilt compared to what I am at the beginning (I have a Juki mid-arm) and well it caused my flames 🔥 not to be uniform throughout the quilt. Definitely a challenge for me. I quilted most of the tracks that Jeff won races at on the outside border. I couldn't fit them all on there but I got most of them. Hubby designed to the back too.

The Americana 🇺🇸 quilt was an easy one to make and about a five year old UFO. Enjoyed this pattern. It, at his request, has been quilted to the best of my imagination like a flag. I was challenged on how to do the stripes but a few wiggle stitches and all 50 stars later, we were good to go. It's done and I am using it as I type this. 😊

Now onto the two year old UFO and his UFOs will be done. And I can start on his new flannel quilt since he can't use his old one anymore. Thank for looking and happy quilting.

Those are very nice. I have a daughter who is a Jeff Gordon fan. I've been thinking about how to do a quilt for her and I hope you don't mind if I borrow your idea. She would just love it.
