I have the same print in a border fabric. Soooooo cute! I'm going to put it on a tote I think!

I love the fruitbottom ladies! They just make me smile. I bought some last year on a shop hop. Originally I was going to make curtins for the kitchen in our condo in FL, but was concerned about fading.

So, I ended up doing a screenplay tote bag and a large lap quilt. Mine was the border fabric of these ladies. I made rows of red and white pinwheels and alternated them with rows of fruitbottoms. I've also seen them worked up as a border on beach towels. Very cute.

Have fun working with them!

Well, she/he must have made a stop in Myrtle Beach last year or the Outer Banks the year before too but I really don't have a suit that looks like a pineapple----that must have been artistic interpretation.
You saw me on the beach (SC).

I received a set of towels for my birthday with the 'Beach Ladies' border print used on the bottom of towels. I love them.
If I can my camera charged I will post a picture.
