You picked a beautiful background fabric. It certainly does bring out the blue colors in your dresden plate.

I think it is gorgeous! Your centers are so pretty. I am making one now also. Got the pattern from Jenny at MSQC. I got 3 Dresdens left to applique on & then I can put it together. Mine calls for just a regular 4" border but I'm not sure what I'll do yet. I might even put sashing in. I'm kind of up in the air right now as what to do.
