It turned out to be stunning. Putting it on point would use fewer barndoor blocks but is a lot tricker to piece. Nice job.

Actually, you made it just fine. You just need to hang it 'on point' instead of straight, that's all!

I agree. Chickening out would have been throwing the blocks in a box and forgetting about them. You did a great job and I love those fabrics!

Lovely quilt! Those setting blocks are a bit trickier than we'd like for them to be...well, it won't happen to you again...and you do have a lovely quilt and all's well that ends well! Good for you for seeing it through to completion!
