My Grandma had a houseful of women for a birthday party & I was put down on the bed to take a nap. Story is - the house got quiet when I began singing The Tennessee Waltz. It was popular on the radio in those days.

Pretty quilt- the greens go together so well!

I was just thinking about the lyrics to "The Tennessee Waltz" -

if he "jumped ship" after just one dance with someone else - she should have been thanking her lucky stars instead of "mourning the loss" of the dude.

So lovely. If it were me, I'd have a very hard time donating this wonderful quilt.
