    I just love it. I want to make one myself. I thou8ght it would be really hard so I haven't done it yet. I guess i should now.

    Not dumb at all, I would be happy to answer for you. the ties do hold it in. When "expeanded" it is about 5 inches wide (front to back) or same size as the bottom of the bag. I have made a few, but I changed the size, tried a zipper, made it with and without ties.
    I look at patterns like recipes, they are just a starting point. You make it special.

    It is a very attractive bag and a lovely piece of art, also.

    I would love to get the pattern. Would you mind providing me with information about the pattern. Does it have an order number or name?

    I'm jealous. I love it and those are some of my favorite colors. You did a wonderful job. I will have to find the pattern and make one for myself and my best friend Nancy.
