Another Charity Quilt
#1
Wow - for a newbie to quilting, I think I'm doing pretty good at gathering money for charity events. Last week one quilt sold for $250, another $300 and a table runner for $25.00
Attached is my "Care Bear" quilt - using cheater fabric bears- bear fronts and bear behinds. It is going to the local library auction this week. It sure is fun to get rid of the many scraps I seem to be accumulating.
I tried the technique where you sew and flip the quilt and batting together and hand tie the quilt. Not quite as good a result as machine or hand quilting - but I hope someone will like it.

Wonderful news on Quilt Auction results! Guess it's a good thing you brought the WIP to guild last time. If we want to see it we will have to go to the Library. Oh you are devious getting us all to go to the Silent Auction! Looking good girl! G
