I bought the pattern for a machine embroidery applique in Hannibal week before last. The pic on the pattern really doesn't do it justice, soooo, when I went to Hannibal with the man, I asked to take a pic of the one they had there for inspiration. I don't know who made it to give credit,,, but I love it! They also sold a kit for it, but i want to do it in different colors.

The pattern is Dots and Daisies by Smith Street Designs.

I would like to try something in fall colors, like browns and earth tones, then throw in a splash of reds, yellows, maybe blues and greens, to make it POP>

Any other suggestions? Maybe a fabric collection from Moda or one of the other quilt shop quality brands?

It is so beautiful. I just visited their site and saw so many really nice patterns. Unfortunately, they are geared toward using an embroidery machine which I don't own (yet).
