I finally finished my Bear Paw scrap quilt!!

Size: 897.2 KBThis Bear Paw scrap quilt seemed to take me forever!! I think about three months. I went thru four bobbins of thread. It was a LOT of work even more than my Dear Jane! I ran out of the green border so ordered more as the backing fabric and will bring a little of it around to the front for the final border. I am very happy with how it turned out. I have NO idea when/how I will quilt it.

I recently found out my sweet son and his wife of 5 yrs. are expecting their first child in the Fall. So I have lots of things in my head that I want to make and knit for them. So I am glad to be able to "move on" to the next project.
When it seems like the world is falling to pieces remember that the pieces are falling into place. We are nearing closer to the End Times.

How pretty! I don't think I've seen that one done "scrappy" before.

That looks like a huge bear paw quilt! Good for you for finishing what seemed to be an endless project! Congratulations to your son and daughter in law! May her pregnancy, labor and delivery be very un-eventful.
    Go forth and sew!

This is just stunning! The Bear Paw is a favorite of mine although I have yet to do one. Seeing yours as a scrappy opens up more opportunities to move this pattern further up on my to do list. Thank- you for sharing .
