i like cheesy. they make the best presents. =) My daughter drew a picture of us from when I was giving her her very first kiss in the hospital. She showed it to me and I burst out in tears. =) One of my most treasured possessions.

My husband is a wood carver so when I say this, please know I mean it.....I recognized it immediately! You did a great job. And no you can't have my board name "GreatStarter" LOL.

Wonderful! 2 1/2 hours Wow!
How did you do this? Was it a pattern, did you draw it out, or did ya do the heart then wing it?

Thanks for all the kind words! You are all so nice...and fortunately, you can't see it very closely.

RKayD: so sweet! you'll find a way to keep that picture forever!

GreatStarter: glad you got it! maybe instead of borrowing your name, i will work on becoming "TheCloser". LOL

dublb: I can't take credit for the design. I saw a photo on Pinterest, and try as I might, I couldn't stop thinking about the quilt. I used flannel (not sure what the original was done in) for the front and back, appliqued the heart on the cream, basted a line down the center, and just started quilting lines that I thought made it look like wood. It was pretty simple once I got started.
