My machine was working so horribly that I gave up after spending more time trying to get it stitching well than I was actually quilting.

Yesterday I just walked into the room and started quilting. No warming it up, no testing, nothing. Of course it worked just fine and I finished the quilting this morning. I have the binding about ready to sew on so it will be almost a year in the making. It's for my daughter and maybe THIS Christmas she'll get it.
It's coming out gorgeous, Pam!! Glad you got around to finishing it.

I am sorry that I stayed away. I'm trying to get to looking at everything that's been going on here but, I've been working a lot this week, early morning calls at home and working late. Lots going on with transition at work and still don't know who is being let go. I was taking the empty soda cans from my desk to the recycling bin in the kitchen at work and my manager asked what I was doing. I said just getting the cans off my desk. He asked why? *me puzzled* I said because I wanted to put them in the recycling. He then started talking about an upgrade that was put on hold and that we may be able to schedule it for December.

I think that may have been his way of telling me that I would still be there in December and maybe he thought I was clearning off my desk in anticipation of being let go.
