Love it. I'm making a featherweight sewing machine cozy with a pattern I found on FatCat Designs. You have inspired me to get busy on it again.

Nice wall hanging and machine. My DD made this same one for me about 18 years ago. It is a classic pattern for us sewists. Was it you that was having trouble understanding the instructions on the HST in Debbie Mumm's patterns?

What a great idea! I may have to make another one for myself!

Yep, I believe the pattern was incorrect, so I just fixed it.

For those who are interested in the pattern: http://heartlandtreasuresks.com/All-...-P1425484.aspx

It's a Debbie Mumm pattern.

I also included a picture of the machine I sewed it on, a 1920s Davis Vertical Feed treadle. LOVE it!!
I have one, too. I thought they were the same, but mine is dated 1914. Works great! I love treadling!

I love the wallhanging. You did a beautiful job. But I have not heard of a Davis machine. I bet before the evening is over though I am sure that I will be doing some major googling. Your machine is nothing less than spectacular.

Very nice quilt, and such a wonderful old machine. You must enjoy sewing on it.
