It will be the best machine you ever had. What a great find. They work and work and work. Just grease and oil it. You can look up the serial # and find the exact year it was made.

You will love it when he gets it going!! I bought a Featherweight right after retiring, and love it!! One piece of advice I wish someone had told me when I got mine. BE SURE to keep the bobbin area cleaned out and oiled. If not, it will mess up on you and if you are like me, you will have to have someone mechanical to fix it. I had to have the man who fixes my machine fix it, and cost me $40.
