It's been awhile since I posted anything - so it must be time. This is the labor of love that got me through my divorce. It is entitled: The Blues Has Got Me Confused. Sorry I missed the very top of it in the picture, but you get the idea.

you need to do one called my half of the marriage. with all the wonderful beautiful memories that you have. or you could do one with all his cloths that you still have. it will be very therapeutic cutting up his stuff. hehe. especially if it was not your idea or desire.

It was my idea and I didn't keep any of his clothes. Moved out and took my kids and fabric with me. And my machines.... of course. There are good memories.. I just prefer to look toward the future.

OOooh yeah, I like. How fortunate we are to have something to keep our hands busy as our hearts heal.

    Beautiful job.

Quilting is so therapeutic....it's obvious you were able to put your emotions into the quilting process. It's gorgeous!

I love the color combo's you created with just blues! I always choose blue if I have to say just one favorite color. I've saved the photo of this because I'd like to copy it. Someday - ahh, so many somedays to come!

Quilting can help us through a lot of hard times. Quilting and this board helped me get through my DD's death almost a year ago :-( ...I am okay now, and have made a lot of quilts.... :)

Wow, that is beautiful. Blue is my very favorite color. That pattern is great. What a pretty scrappy quilt. Thanks for sharing.
