What's a "squishy?" I'm new to this site and to quilting.
What's a UFO? WIP? Tute? This is a new language to me.
I am delighted to see that so many quilters are also animal
lovers (based on the photo on their messages).

Tute is short for tutorial - check out that section on the board, there are some great ones there, posted by our members.
