    I Have Gone Modern! Chevrons

I made a his and her lap quilts for a young modern couple that attended University of Florida. So using the school colors I got to play with a Modern Design and test out some quilting.

I love them both! The quilting is gorgeous. Did you use an HST method or another method? I am making a chevron quilt currently. A friend of mine 'pinned' (on Pinterest) a method that does not involve HST's and for me that has been much easier!

    Very nice...

I've done the chevron pattern and found it tedious, but still need to finish one more since it is cut out. I like your quilting and I do like the pattern--just didn't like making it.

I really like the quilting. Great example for me to aspire to.

I have seen the HST method but that is not what I have done here. It is done by sewing strips, cut and changing the angle when laying it out--VERY EASY! There is a link at my blog, click in at the bottom of the post.
