I like your new cabinet. I have a brother machine just like that. I bought it in 1992. It still works like a top.
I also have 11 other machines. various brands.

I am emotionally attached to this machine, my DH bought it for me about a year after we were married, I call it my testosterone machine, it just keeps going and going. I have bought 4 of these machines in the last few years, one for a friend who borrowed mine and liked it so much she wanted one, one for my class (which was purchased by the student who used it), 2 that had problems so I used one for parts to rebuild/replace parts on the other one and sold it to a coworker's daughter who loves it! It's a dandy!

I own more machines than I care to admit to, all in working order.

So, here's my old setup and here's my new setup. This is a Sauder sewing cabinet, I ordered it online through Walmart, I got it for $119 but it goes on sale for $99 frequently and the shipping is free to the Walmart nearest you. It's really sturdy and the shelves can hold up to 25 lbs.

I set up in front of one of the recliners but DH said no problem, we have another recliner, an overstuff chair, and a couch so he's comfortably covered no matter what!
OOO LA LA I LIKE IT A LOT BETTER.VERY NICE

I have had this same table for about 6 or 7 years. It has worked great for me. Great storage also.
