I have always liked tumbler quilts. This was a nice gesture on your part.

Love clicking that way! I clicked with several gals at my Starbucks a few years back. I even loaned one my Featherweight so she could sew, just handed it over through the drive through with out a second thought!
Its wonderful that you making this gift for her!

Great story! It is so nice when we make an unexpected connection with someone - you're both lucky to have met. Lovely quilt - the orange is just perfect to set everything off.

Lovely quilt. My granddaughter just started college this year and still has her favorite baby quilts that I made for her. Many years of joy can come from one small quilt.

I loved reading your story and yes, I do know what you mean when people "click". I can't imagine what joy this will bring to her!! Love the quilt too.

Sometimes we just have to trust our instincts. My daughter is a real extrovert and can connect with anyone. She still corresponds with her Starbucks barista even though she moved across country! I think it is wonderful you both made new friends. She will love your thoughtfulness and the beautiful baby quilt.
