I disagree that you're a terrible mommy! A happy mommy is a good mommy, and it won't hurt the kids a bit to keep their stuff in their rooms. Welcome to real life, kiddies, where there's always too much stuff and not enough room! That's how they (hopefully) learn to put things away! Your sewing room is awesome!

Awesome! You go mom!!
I'm just waiting for one of my kids to fly the coup so I can take over their rooms lol... I've got a good 10 years or so before I'll see that day happen and I doubt my husband would let me even when they do move out - his bedroom is still a shrine at his parents' house! In fact all of the kids' rooms are exactly the way they left them........ (insert Twilight Zone music here)

Great room! Love the windows and how open it all is.

What brand of sewing table do you have? It looks large + it has storage... the ideal!

My DH jokes that our DD was bearly to the end of the driveway and I was claiming her room. DD is very independent and I knew she was flying the coop. She says "That's how you raised me!" I can only take that as a compliment.
