I made this quilt while I was going through one of my orange periods. I found the goldfish fabric for the outer border and fell in love with it and pretty much designed the quilt around it. The machine quilting was done with a variegated thread as shown in the detail photo. The appliques were hand sewn.

I'm not big on fish but this is sew cute. Love the colors and your applique is wonderful. The turtle makes me smile:):):)

Is that the most fun quilt. i love that fabric you chose for the borders. It just sets everything off and makes it stunning.
