I LOVE IT! On the closeup picture that shows the solid green and brown.....Are those little squares sewn together? Or are they a triangle with stitches sewn over to look like squares sewn together? I want to do this pattern...What is the name of it?

Hi all! Thank you so much for your replies! They make my day! I've had many requests for the pattern--both here and in PMs, so I thought I should post the link to where I got it.

Here you go: http://www.bonniebluequilts.com/Sear...x?CategoryID=5 Scroll down to "Civil War Tribute."

angie--every other block is simply two large triangles sewn together. Does that answer your question? Let me know if it doesn't, and I'll try again.

    :D

I need to dig out my dictionary of superlatives. Until the "WOW" will have to do.

I trimmed it up and had Mark choose the binding fabric--and when he got out of the shower I wanted him to test it out.
