I love how the label turned out!

The quilt is a memory quilt that came together in a couple of days but I love the label! It means "memories from childhood."

Oh yeah...this is the quilt. When I make these, I ask the kids (about to head to college) to look through my novelty fabrics and choose special ones that mean something from their childhood/youth. They need to find 96 fabrics. I can applique or embroider additional ones if they want. This is hers.

Beautiful label. I have been looking for a small font to do the same thing. Where did you get the small font?

embird. It is one of the ones I paid $15 for to add to the program. I didn't do it when I bought the program...but a couple of months later. I'm considering adding one a month til I'm done, but I've got 4 and like them. This is a redwork one.

How special, Becky!! A thoughtful gift.

Someday I'd love for you to post a topic telling us what it is like living in Poland. Tell us about your house; restaurants and recipes; how/where do you shop for groceries and clothing; where do you get your fabrics; Do you have a car, what kind/size, how is the driving there; what do you do for entertainment; have you traveled to many places in the country - which were the most interesting? Day-to-day things.

I lived for 7 years in Germany in the 1960-1970s and adored it. Many things had changed by the time I re-visited in 2005, so I'm sure your experience in Poland now is not as 'primitive'/unfamiliar as my first years in Germany were. But I'll bet there are board members who've never lived overseas who would find these things of interest.
