    Default Quenching my applique fever

We had a baby shower at work to welcome new babies this year into our school family. I was in the applique mode and decided to use up some of the large fleece blankets I've been hoarding. I had a good time, and the blankets are more than just baby blankets. They can use them for many many years.

I couldn't forget the big sis of one of our new babies, so I put together a pillowcase for her.

How nice of you to include the "big sis" in your gift giving. Love your applique and the simplicity of your blankets. Thanks for sharing.

Sooooo cute! They'll be treasured & loved for years to come. And great idea to make something for Big Sis, too. I always try to include a gift for the older siblings, too, because I remember how confused my DS was when his sister was born & got showered with gifts & he didn't. Plus, it's one more fun thing to make!
