    I, too, would like to know any advice on quilting with satin. Do you use special needles? I made my mom a quilt with satin on the back and had a problem with it snagging....looked awful.

    OMG!! Just absolutely beautiful and you are a brave soul to tackle even one. But then you did another one!! I know from experience that satin is not the easiest fabric to work on. And I have never tried a quilt out of it...only clothing.
    What did you use for backing? And did you quilt on the LA machine or did you hand-quilt? You sure did good however it is done!
    I would never use those quilts only on a spare bed!!
