That's looks great for it's age! I hope you will have it out for display or use now. And it is great that you dated it.

I was thinking that when we date projects/quilts, we should really put all four numbers of the year on them such as 1985 rather than just '85 because sooner or later the centuries will go by. I have some counted cross-stitch framed that I wish I had done that with. Not sure this really matters much but now that we are in the 21st century, it might matter to family or historians if the item is from 2016 or 1916. Guess it could be obvious from the fabric used but even that has been reproduced so who knows! Your project made me think about this.

edited: Forgot to mention that the hand quilting on your pillow looks great too! Nice job!

It's very pretty, and I can see all the nice work on it. Thank you for sharing.

That is far too pretty to be locked away.

A beautiful cushion; Cathedral Window was very popular in 1985 when I too began patchwork sewing by hand (the year my last child was born and I was forced into retirement because of high BP, tennis and golfers elbows from typing and knitting; and shovelling concrete for a year in spare time after work!)!

Beautiful! Those cathedral windows were pretty ambitious for a beginner. You did good.
