Your granddaughter & the sock monkey are adorable! Was it hard to make? I've always been partial to monkeys.

My youngest son spent a couple summers as a stage hand. One summer I made 4 sock monkeys. One was for my GD but he quickly claimed the others. We put black t-shirts on them and wrote 'STAGE HAND' on the backs in white letters, of course. Then we made little stage passes for them to wear around their necks. Then we put the hands over the eyes of one, the hands over the ears of another and the hands over the mouth of the last. They show up in odd corners of a stage once in a while. That was maybe 6 or 7 years ago and he still has them. His wife thinks they are way cool.

I haven't seen those around for many years. Used to help my Gram make them for sales... Happened to see one yesterday at a specialty shop. Price $25, made in China..yikes.. Yours is adorable...They are fun to make... Thanks for sharing

Your sock monkey is darling and so is the young lady. She has a beautiful smile. That is probably because you did this thoughtful thing for her
