    here is my moose quilt. It started out as an Irish Chain and ended up scrappy, sort of what you have in mind around your attic windows .

    maybe this can give you some ideas. I like your idea of alternating blocks. On a king size bed I like your first arrangement.

    I feel left out however I really like the 1st and 3d My own opinion I think the 2nd is over powering Sorry
