    I need some suggestions...

I made this Log cabin quilt out of pink and blue scraps. What color or pattern would you use as the boarder ?

Wow! What a beautiful quilt. I think you could use either pink or blue. Pink would really brighten it.

I would look for the least seen color in the quilt and use that if it is a good fabric. Like maybe the red or dark pink (I'm not sure what shade the color is) but it is kind of in the center of the 2nd block from the left.

Great Idea, I now see what you see. It is a hot pink cotton fabric. I think I will keep this quilt for my extra bedroom, so the pink color will work well. Thanks

I think Pink would be nice and then maybe use the blue in the binding. Thanks for the suggestion.

Very pretty. I would use that dark pink/magenta if you have enough.

This is funny! Everyone is as torn over the border color as you are! I think a really deep dark blue border if you like it mellow and a hot magenta pink if you like it spicy! LOL!

IMHO, First border in pinks, maybe a floral if you have one or a pink stripe would be cool then a blue border.
    Really nice LC.

Beautiful Quilt. I would use the blue for the border, that way your eye will stay in the middel of the quilt.

I agree with ube quilting. That is a beautiful log cabin. One of these days I'm going to get brave enough to try one. Send us a pic as soon as you are finished...would love to see what you decide.

why dont you use both? i would maybe do a light or hot pink as a small inner border and then a bright blue fatter one. or a solid blue and then piano keys for a wild look?? i know im way out there........

@ post #18, terribb, I did a LC with a pianokey border and they go perfect together. Good idea if there is enough fabric.

Beautiful quilt! I would use a small inner pink border with a darker blue wider outer border.
