Hi, I am working on a photo quilt of my Dolly that I lost last month. I was going for the shadow effect or maybe the 3D effect. As you can see I messed up but I kept going thinking it looked sort of like Art Deco. At this point I am ready to rip it all out and start over. What would you do or change. Please over look the purple design wall. Any input I would be greatful.

    Thanks
    Jackie

I love the way the photos are framed in the center of the quilt. I am no help. I like it very much

Instead of having the shadow part on three sides of the photo make it only two, I think that is where the effect is lost

I think this is good advice. I checked some other shadow patterns and the shadow part was only on two sides. At least you wouldn't have to unsew too much

Thank you. I see now what I did wrong. I hope I can fix, if not I will have to finish it like it is.

She was a little white snowball stray when she found me. LOL But she had a lot of the ragdoll traits. I have no idea what she was. Thanks
