I've never done a crumb quilt (but could). I'm like you I have a LOT of fabric in yardage and scraps and crumbs. Good for you for finishing it. It looks nice.

Your blocks are beautiful. Love how you kinda color coordinated them! Hummmm, may try a little of that with the crumb blocks I'm playing with right now. Thanks for the idea!

I love scrappies but not enough patience to use crumbs. I give crumbs to a crazy friend that loves them so I don’t have to feel guilty about waste! Lol

It's a great crumb quilt, but I totally understand why you need a break from "smalls"!

Very attractive quilt but you certainly have more patience than I have. I think it will be a nice scrappy treasure for you and it has a story to tell.

Bless your heart. Quilters are frugal people. Talk about getting your money's worth! I bet that quilt has a lot of memories in it.

I started letting every piece go that was not at least 1.5 " wide. (Which I can use for mini's and postcards.) Just to save my own sanity.

Your piece is really wonderful. And, It is mesmerizing to look at. Beautiful job! I hope this quilt now brings you joy!

My crumb quilts have won prizes from the audience. One was much like yours: with black sashing. I had started with a little black center and built around it.

I find it gratifying when my box of crumbs is almost gone and I have to wait to create more. But I also do dumpster diving; at quilt workshops. Some people throw away what seems like yardage to me.

Love this quilt!!! I can relate to the saving of every scrap. Hey, I paid good money for that fabric. I'm not throwing away a good piece of fabric.
Your quilt will become an heirloom.
