Was it packaged poorly?

I've sent the company an email and hopefully they will replace it without a hassle.

Now I have to go lecture myself about not talking to myself. <grin>

Yep - just put into a U.S.P.S. Priority Mail envelope - no stabilizing added.

I would have been sew not happy either. I hope they ship you a new one soon.

Bummer. Hope they replace it. I've ordered similar rulers from softexpressions.com and was very pleased how they handled my order.
It's a long trek to where I live so anything fragile better be well wrapped.

Any rulers I have ordered from soft expressions were packaged in cardboard and none so far have ever got broken through the mail. I did have one form Nancys notion cracked, but it was so minir and just a tiny one at that. I'm carfeul when I use that ruler.

if the comany you ordered from is reputable, they will repace it, no hassle. Seems to be due to their insufficinet packing for shipment
