Well I has some fabric that I wasn't sure what to do with so decided it might make an OBW .
Spent yesterday cutting and matching.(didn't do great with that) The fabric had been washed so maybe that was it.
Stayed up until 10 last night , then started again late morning turning each one 3 times to figure out the best one to my eye. My camera came in handy for this.
I haven't started sewing yet just have them on my design boards.
First a picture of the fabric then a pic of the blocks.
This thing could be addicting. I have 35 different blocks from one fabric. I had no where near the yardage the book calls for but I think its kinda neat anyway

I just have to figure out how the layout will go .
I am seeing blocks when I close my eyes. I think I need a break. lol

I am thinking of putting the triangles inbetween since I really am not thrilled with them right next to each other. I will have to try again once I get them sewn together. Or maybe I will throw some of the cubes in. I am checking out all the great pictures on here looking for ideas.

I laughed when you said you see blocks when you close your eyes! Whenever I see tiles (like on the walls or floors of a restaurant) I see quilt blocks and imagine the possibilities...lol! I never did that before I started quilting! Your blocks by the way are beautiful!!!

Wow! I don't know how you knew that fabric would make all those different blocks. Guess you have to have the instructions. Just gorgeous!

You blocks are beautiful! OBW is not my favorite - they actually almost make me dizzy! I really like yours, maybe its the fact they are separated. I would definitely go with the triangles in between. Great job - thanks for sharing!

I have a question about the fabric and manufacturer. It's a beautiful choice of colors and pattern. Do you know who made it and the collection that it came from?

I have no idea what an OBW is or how you get all those kalidioscope patterns out of one fabric. I would love to know I thought the blocks turned out great.

Me, too. When I go into a store or come out of a ladies room and start talking about remembering the design of the tiles for a quilt, whoever I'm with tells me I need a vacation! I guess you just have to be a quilter!

They are beautiful blocks and I agree about triangles inbetween. I like OBW like that.
